It’s Sunday! Sometimes I love Sundays, but since I’m heading towards the end of the quarter, things are getting really busy. So, instead of a nice, relaxing day, I’m busy with group meetings and papers. I still made time this to week to find a few links for ya, though, so I hope you enjoy! Just so you know, they’re a little travel-heavy this week…you can tell where my mind is right now. 🙂
(Oh wait, my mind is always on travel…have you guessed that yet?).
+ It’s Been Over a Hundred Years Since an Artist Did This in America. This is an amazing project regarding the Native Americans here in the United States–watch it! 🙂 (and I agree, it’s time someone did it again!).
+ According to this woman, 5 Things Learned From Yoga. As I’ve recently started to do yoga regularly, I love these and agree with some of them! Hopefully I will agree with them all at some point.
+ 21 Hotels To See Before You Die. Um, YES PLEASE. Apparently Switzerland is the land of amazing hotels, who knew?
+ One of my favorite bloggers discusses why she won’t go on sponsored trips. Although I don’t get to travel much right now and would probably take an offered trip in a second, her words on travel are, well, kind of beautiful. (But for her, that’s nothing new). And, should I ever actually be in the position to consider a sponsored trip (anyone? anyone? Bueller?) I would think about her words and consider how an individual sees the world, and how that can be skewed by a free, carefully crafted vacation.
+ 22 Before and After Pictures of Animals. Warning: these photos will make you squeal out loud. So cute!
+ I want to go to all of these charming places! And live in all of them too…
+ I found these tips for visiting America when you’re Japanese to be fascinating. Tips on everything from dinner plates to dress-code to sarcasm are provided! I always find it so interesting to read about America from a different perspective.
