Sounds like you’ve got a good mix of places you loved and places that need a second chance. My problem is I want to revisit EVERYWHERE, haha

I’m always fascinated how some places just don’t appeal to us while we can’t seem to get enough of others. I would love to explore Vietnam and I think Greece is one of my favourite places in the world – so many wonderful islands to explore. Thanks for sharing on #FarawayFiles

But give Paris another chance – j’adore Paris! Normandy is very charming, but you should really go down south! Fab list – I have so much Asia on my travel to-do list as I’ve never been! Thanks for sharing with #FarawayFiles, Erin

It’s so hard isnt it? I adore Italy and will make any excuse to go there. Vietnam is another place I would love to revisit but you also have lots on my list I havent seen. China and Japan are next I think. Thanks for making me ponder on #FarawayFiles

I definitely feel like I did not do Ireland right and I’m sure it deserves more of a chance 🙂 I agree with you – I would like to explore France a bit more as well. I am one of those Paris people I suppose – I’d be totally happy to just only go there every time I went to France, but Alex (being, like you, part French) really wants to see more of the country sometime soon.

Romania springs to mind! I visited in 1994, a bad period for the country, when there were food, petrol etc shortages. My main memory though is of huge derelict looking industrial factories belching coloured smoke (?) into the atmosphere. Maybe I just visited the wrong areas! #farawayfiles

A different season, time of your life or travel companion can make all the difference. You’ve sure seen a lot of the world! I’ve not been to Cambodia but felt similarly about Hanoi, breathing a real sigh of relief when we moved on. I’d love to explore more of France and Italy as well.
