So glad you did this post Amy – I really love reading them! Such a fun quick way to learn more about you! I love Love Actually too (watch it annually, at least haha) and Harry Potter is just my fave thing ever! I’ve read each book maybe 7 times. Major obsession alert! X
AmyMacWorld says
Thanks Carly! You should do a post like this, too, I would love to read it! I have never met anyone who’s seen Love Actually and can resist to see it again–I have to watch it every year at Christmas :). I think my HP obsession might beat yours, because I’ve read each book about 10 times at least…:)
Carly @ Let Us Wanderlust says
Oh wow! You’ve given me something to aspire too! 10 times each wooo! Xo
Yalanda_Meshell says
Oh fun! I’m so sad you don’t like mushrooms though lol! My newest obsession was True Detective, but I binge watched it and so now it’s over already 🙁
AmyMacWorld says
I’m recently learning that just the texture bugs me–as long as they are cooked in something I don’t mind the ‘shrooms 🙂 I love Sherlock so much that I’ve refused to watch the final available episode…I don’t want it to end!!
Yalanda_Meshell says
Lol, that is serious self control Amy!
AmyMacWorld says
Haha no one has ever accused me of that before 😉 mostly I know it will be a cliff-hanger episode and who knows when the next season will come out, urgggh!!
Sara says
I love these posts! Think I’m going to have to jump on the bandwagon 😉 I read The Lovely Bones so many times when I was younger and made other people read it that my copy at home is literally falling apart haha.
AmyMacWorld says
Yes you should, I would love to read it! I love that your book is falling apart from being read so much, that’s the best way for a book to get old haha! It’s such a beautifully written book.
Kerri says
I saw this little post too! I’ve put one together for my blog, even added a few categories just to spice things up.
On the road, I’d definitely like to be on the road. I’d just like to be anywhere but going back to work tomorrow morning.
I love Sherlock! I think I’ve watched it three times now!
AmyMacWorld says
Yay, Sherlock! I’m ready for a new season already, though! What are they doing? Get on it ;). Can’t wait to check out your Four Things post!
Kaelene @ Unlocking Kiki says
I am so happy Parks and Rec is back, although sad it is the last season! And how exciting that both of your parents will be visiting you this summer!
AmyMacWorld says
I know! I don’t want it to end! And yes, I can’t wait! Did I read that you’ll be heading home this summer for a visit?
Angie says
I used to also love Alvin & the Chipmunks, but that new version really disappointed me!
AmyMacWorld says
Yes I refuse to see any of the new ones! Retro all the way!
AmyMacWorld says
I refused to even see the new version–retro all the way!!

Such a fun idea! Your list of top four foods in spot on, yum 😀
AmyMacWorld says
Yes! I think I might be missing those, too, so that could be a factor in my choice 🙂
Amanda @ Rhyme & Ribbons says
It sounds like you have a lot of upcoming things to look forward to! x
AmyMacWorld says
Yes, it will be a great year I think! 🙂 I hope your 2015 is shaping up pretty good, too! xo
Holly Hollyson says
Found it amusing that you added snails to your list! I read The Lovely Bones, but could not get into it at all 🙁 What did you do as a school therapist?
AmyMacWorld says
Aw really? I thought it was so beautiful! But I can see how it might be hard to get started, it’s a difficult book to read as well.
I just can’t handle snails, haha 🙂
I was a school counselor so I worked with the “problem” kids in a low-income school in Aurora, CO. It was a tough job, the school district is pretty dismal, but I do miss it sometimes!
Holly Hollyson says
I can’t wait to get my work permit back so I can work with children again. I am going to ring immigration today to see if there are any updates. Fingers crossed!! I think I did find it quite hard to read!
Ash @ The Nashvillian says
You’ve lived in and been to some pretty amazing places!!!
AmyMacWorld says
Yes, I’ve been lucky 🙂 but I’ve never been to Nashville and I would love to!
Ami Schwabenland says
I’ve never met another person who knew Chinua Achebe’s “Things Fall Apart”! Great book – you may have inspired me to re-read it, since I haven’t done so since college. Is that your mom in the last photo with you? She’s beautiful! Adorable pups – the one looks like part collie. What a fun idea for a post.
AmyMacWorld says
Yes you should read it again! The second time I read it I loved it even more. That is my mom–she’s lovely! I hope I look like her when I’m her age, or really I hope I look like her at ANY age! The pups are a beagle and a corgi 🙂
Camila says
hm yay for those tv shows and favourite foods and all of the harry potter haha
AmyMacWorld says
Yes, more harry potter! I need to get myself to harry potter land asap! 🙂
