It seems like such a strange mentality to me–my parents are fairly supportive of my travel, but my dad especially would never have suggested travel instead of school! I think for some people it could be a great choice.

I agree, Betsy and her life was such a big influence on me. I felt like she was one of my best friends growing up, and I still feel that way.
