It’s FRIDAY! The Friday before a three-day weekend, no less.
I hope some of you have some grand plans out there, because this weekend I am playing nurse to E, who recently had his wisdom teeth removed (as in: two hours ago recently). I really need to live vicariously through someone else’s adventure!
Not that I mind taking care of this dude:
Except, I’m kind of a terrible nurse. I get more stressed than the patient I’m taking care of…and a SNAFU with his prescription did NOT help me feel relaxed and confident.
While I’m off fetching pudding cups and providing guaze, I thought I’d leave you with some of my favorite reads from around the web. Enjoy! I’ll see you on Monday–I’m taking this weekend to actually try to figure out my blog and my blog design. (What do you think so far? I’m dying for some feedback!)
+ 52 (more!) places to go in 2014, and, more specifically, 8 places to go in Africa. (Have you ever been to Africa? Would you go? I admit that I’m dying to go, but I’m also a little scared! Maybe 2014 will be the year I suck it up and go).
+ These 40 photos from the past are amazing! I can’t believe how much can change so rapidly.
+ A Russian photographer (and mother) takes these breathtaking, magical pictures that immediately make me want to see Russia (and/or move to a farm).
+ Fly like a bird: the V-formation finally explained! (This might only be interesting to those of us who have always wondered WHY THEY DO THAT and who are weirdly obsessed with small parts of nature like this).
+ This article makes me love Kate Middleton even more than I already did (let’s be best friends, Kate. I also get weirdly excited whenever Harry Potter is even mentioned).
+ Parenthood explained by the great Amy and Tina. Finally, a REAL assessment of what it’s truly like to be a parent! 😉
Have a great weekend!
