This week…(besides starting this blog…bear with me as we get this baby movin!)…
I chopped my hair off. I’m still thinkin’ bout it. I had to get fancy. When you gots to, polka dot tights make it real fun.I picked me up some of these lovely flowers. I relished this view from our porch here in Colorado.I carved pumpkins! Not this sweet vampire one, though.I wanted to be Jane Goodall…so I made E be a chimp. BUT it turned out a little creepy…
I’m honestly not the hugest fan of Halloween although apparently to some, it’s better than any other holiday (yeah…what is that nonsense? But, to each their own). We were invited to several Halloween bashes, so we decided to throw together some last-minute costumes.
Oh, yeah…my costumes are always last-minute. But this year, I decided to dress up like one of my personal heroes, Jane Goodall. (I heard her speak once. You guys! She’s amazing). I thought it would be fun if E was my little chimpanzee friend. He turned out looking like a creepy robber/murderer hiding behind a terrifying mask (hence the last-minuteness). I think he enjoyed randomly putting the mask back on during the evening and making everyone jump.
Happy Friday, and happy November! I always love the start of a new month in the fall.
