Despite my weekly Travel Tuesday posts, it’s been quiet around here. I took an unplanned break, and I’ve missed regular blogging. Now that I’m done with school (ahem, give me a moment…THAT’S RIGHT, I NOW HAVE AN M.A.!!!!!!!) I am looking forward to dedicating much more time to this space. For the next few weeks, I am searching out freelance work and packing up everything we own. We leave Denver in early July, then head to Montana, Seattle and California for some last-minute family time, all before we leave for PRAGUE at the beginning of August…it’s coming so soon! Here’s what I’ve been up to these last few weeks.
Since I last blogged…
I’ve learned that while I adore puppies, I am certainly not ready to have one full-time.
I’ve scrambled to finish school….
And I have successfully finished school and I am now an official Master’s! (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I threw a baby shower and dug a baby picture of myself out of the woodwork for a guessing game…nobody had any problem knowing this was me.
I finally found some tulips which has been way too hard in Colorado this year!
I went to my first professional soccer game.
I’ve been to the Grand Canyon.
I’ve been to Mesa Verde National Park.
I’ve spent way too many hours in the car…
But I’ve seen some gorgeous views!
I’ve said farewell to a few friends.
I’ve packed up most of my house, said goodbye to some of my favorite things, and put up my well-worn car, Grimace, up for sale.
I’ve run on very little sleep.
I’ve seen so many tiny bunnies! Springtime!
I’ve stood in four states at once.
I’ve enjoyed one of the last incredible sunsets from our apartment…we move out in three weeks!
And I learned that this is real life:
Linking up forΒ Daily Diaries with Diaries of an Essex Girl!
