This week, I saw Erika’s 250-words-or-less travel history through Travel Tuesday and I was inspired to attempt a brief travel history of my own! Especially since I tend to blog about whatever place I feel like blogging about that day, many of you may not know my full travel history…so if you’re interested, read on! I’m especially curious to see if I can actually write that few of words about my life. 250 words…starts now!
I was born in Colorado, quickly moved to Oregon, and soon settled in Bozeman, Montana.
I was lucky enough to spend my life traveling around the beautiful West.
My first trip abroad was at age 15 with the Girl Scouts to Switzerland and Italy.
At 19, I took my first solo trip to visit E in Seattle/Olympia.
I met my cousin in Ireland that summer.
I moved away from my hometown to work on a ranch in rural Cameron, Montana.
I studied abroad in Peru that year. I met my brother in Ecuador to travel afterwards.
The summer I finished school E and I traveled to his hometown in Washington, and took an incredible trip to Victoria, Canada.
I completed my degree and went to Southeast Asia with my cousin. We squeezed in South Korea, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam in two months.
I moved with E to Colorado for AmeriCorps. We saw the sights of our new state. I enrolled in a graduate degree that would get me abroad. I went to Minnesota Lake Country.
E and I went to the San Juan Islands and Olympia National Park.
That winter, I visited my cousin in Oregon.
In the summer, I took an internship in China.
After, I met E, and we visited Belgium, France, England, Scotland and Iceland.
I rounded out a big travel year in Cozumel, Mexico.
2014 has been a quiet year, as I finish my master’s, but I recently announced that E and I will be moving to Prague in August!
Okay, so that was 255 words…that was the best I could do! Now you’re up to speed for the most part! A few smaller trips had to be left out because I just couldn’t squeeze them in. Props again to Erika, because this was way harder than I anticipated! I really like to be flowery, so this was good practice in being concise. I’m lucky to have so much to say when it comes to life and travel, so it was a good challenge to have :). Plus, I couldn’t resist adding pictures with text…but those don’t count ;).
What’s YOUR travel history? I’d love to hear it.

Wow! This was so cool to read! You’ve been a lot of places and even in 255 words, it was hard to digest because there’s so much awesome! AHHH! *starts going through archives*
